Ryan, This has been something I have always wanted to do. You and the others who went on this mission have inspired me, have lit a fire under me. I wanted to attend this year, but it never developed and I would not want to do anything within myself. I want to make sure it is where & when He wants me to be. I have began praying daily to know if this is where God would like me to serve at some point in my life. If you will, please begin praying that God would show me exactly what I need to do and give me confirmation. Blessings!
Thank you for this post. You have put into words some of the things that have been wanting to explode out of me in recounting our trip. I CANNOT WAIT to go back next year. Thank you for the opportunity.
Stacy… DO IT! Bless you.
Leslie… I can’t wait either (God willing).
Ryan… you covered it all pretty well in your list. Numbers 2, 6, 7, and 17 were most memorable for me. Thanks for allowing us to go with you all.
I would have to add, for me at least, developing a friendship with some pretty awesome college young men. They truly blessed my heart last week and were great entertainment. God has shown me that HE is everywhere, all we have to do is look for Him. His hand is always reaching for us, all we have to do is reach back. Thank you Ryan was this wonderful experience. We are already praying for next year.
Next year will be CrossPoint’s expansive mission ever. Every CrossPointer is going on mission either in the city, the state, the nation or aboard. We are sending 1000 people on mission in 2011 and we are going to cover hundreds of 1000 of miles.
So, Stacy, get your passport.
Leslie, I expect you and your husband to lead a team in 2011. Same for Patti and her hubbie.
Ron, I think of how much we would have missed out on without you and your sons. Thanks for making the trip so memorable. Have you had your coffee today?
Patti… AMEN!
