I just wanted to write and say thank you for the challenges you constantly give us. I was so affected at the family conference a few weeks ago because I have been tithing, but not giving to the capital campaign. After that meeting I knew I had to step up. I have been praying about an amount that I have wanted to add into my giving, but at the same time have that nagging voice in the back of my head constantly saying, “you can’t afford anything extra.” So I made up my mind that it would be provided and when my next paycheck came this week I was going to start giving to the building fund. Imagine my surprise, when I opened my pay stub today and found that I have been given a raise that would provide the exact amount that I have felt led to give per paycheck. It is just amazing how great God is and how He provides. And I wanted to share that story and thank you and the stewardship team for bringing it to my attention that it is my job to do more as a Crosspointer.
